Kye's 2nd Birthday...

since kale will be gone for kye's birthday we decided to have a small family celebration last weekend. kye loved his birthday cake... especially the very sugary icing... which he ate first of course. we got him a big bag of large legos. when kale unzipped the bag kye got the biggest grin on his face and yelled "YEEEAAAAH!"... then he proceeded to dump the entire bag into his lap and giggle and laugh with delight. he has had so much fun sitting and putting his lego blocks together. he's so proud of his work and loves to run over to us and show us what he's built.

"mmm... mmm... this cake is DE-LISH!"

we had a really fun halloween. we took the boys trick or treating down our street. kye was so thrilled to get candy in his bucket that after the first house he had to stop and eat his candy before proceeding to the next house. we should have brought out his wagon since i carried kye for half the block while he munched on his booty.

4 Months Old...

shey is now 4 months old and is 17 lbs. 10 oz. he enjoys sitting up... with assistance... and sucks on anything that gets close to his mouth... you really have to keep an eye on your fingers because he will eat them with a vengeance. he is doing so well holding toys for an extended amount of time... assuming his big brother doesn't steal it from him. kye is so eager to play with his little brother that he has started diving on top of shey.

"can someone please explain to me why kye's thumb is in my ear?"
