Mr. Bear...

teddy bears never lose their hug-ability. kye got this bear from his great grandpa houser for his 1st christmas. the other day he was so cute walking around hugging his bear and turning the dial to play "silent night." i cannot believe this is his third christmas! where does the time go? i'm so glad little boys stay so hug-able as well.

Brotherly Play Time...

just last week kye has been really interested... and at times down right insistant... on having shey sit on his lap. what starts out as a good idea quickly down grades into a hilarious time of playing that mommy just cannot resist taking pictures of. i'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Santa Visit...

last week we visited santa and his reindeer at bass pro shops. the boys didn't even put up a fuss about sitting on santa's lap. kye didn't smile until santa introduced him to his first candy cane. i helped him open it, and 2 minutes later all that was left was the plastic wrapping and sticky, messy fingers... another candy cane bites the dust...

i'm glad kye is enjoying the christmas tree... but i sure wish you could have seen it before he got to it...i swear it looked so much prettier. kye has done an excellent job helping to rearrange the ornaments... notice there are no more ornaments on the bottom half of the tree, and he has ornaments hanging from his wrists. christmas is only half the fun without kids!

Reindeer Games & Gingerbread Trains...

i know i'm a bit delayed in posting pics from when we were in texas, but better late than never. when we were there, michelle pulled out some old reindeer antlers that kye just loved to put on. shey and i couldn't resist joining in the fun of the "antler season" with kye.

The Stanfields...
steve was able to come home for the entire 4 day thanksgiving holiday, so michelle requested to get some family photos taken. you'll see in a couple of photos that i had a little helper while taking these pictures.

i had so much fun taking picturs of kathleen for her senior portfolio. she's such a natural in front of the camera that she made taking pictures so easy. at first we didn't know where to take pictures, but then we found some great places just in her backyard.

Thanksgiving in Texas...
we arrived at my sister michelle's house last weekend before thanksgiving. we have had so much fun here. kye loves playing on the swing, slide and see saw. for the first time he has begun to sit on the swing and attempt to swing himself, and he has also discovered that swinging on his belly is quite a lot of fun. shey loves all the attention he's getting and learned to roll across the floor while here... so now we have two boys on the go!
